Are you one of the three people actually watching Kidnapped on NBC this year? If so, get your TiVo ready, as NBC will be finishing off the run of episodes for those who aren’t interested in paying for the DVD or never got around to watching them online.

Despite a DVD release and a run on NBC.com, the Peacock is giving regular old TV viewers a chance to see the eight previously unaired episodes of its short-lived drama “Kidnapped” beginning this weekend.

According to the show’s official web site, the unaired installments are set to run Sunday nights (or Monday mornings depending on your time zone) at 12:00/11:00c beginning this Sunday, June 24.

Be sure to check your local listings however as timings may vary from market to market.

So, if you care to know who it ends, tune in.

Kidnapped is officially cancelled

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

There has been a lot of talk about Kidnapped being pulled from the schedule due to its low ratings. There was some hope since the producers had been told to wrap up the mystery of the kidnapping within the 13 episodes ordered.

NBC has now officially pulled the blog on the series, although fans (all 3 of you) will be able to catch the final unaired 8 episodes of the series online at NBC.com. Fans should keep an eye on the Kidnapped website for updates as to when the episodes will be available.

Kidnapped loses its timeslot, moves to Saturdays on NBC

Friday, October 6th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

NBC has bumped Kidnapped from its juicy 10pm Wednesday timeslot, and moved the show to Saturdays.  This follows the network’s news that the producers of Kidnapped have been told to wrap up the series in the 13 currently ordered episodes.  And what is getting that Wednesday timeslot?  Rumor has it that Dateline will be slipped into the newly vacated 10pm slot.

An unfortunate turn of events, but if you are a fan of the show, at least you will get to see it through some sort of conclusion, instead of it being dropped immediately, even if it will be in an awkward timeslot.

Kidnapped on the NBC chopping block

The NBC drama is headed for the chopping block. Producers have been told to wrap up the series by the 13th episode. On a positive note, however, it sounds like NBC is committed to run the series through the 13th episode, rather than dropping it from the lineup immediately.

Kidnapped is the story of a teenage son of a wealthy family who is kidnapped. It stars Jeremy Sisto, Delroy Lindo, Timothy Hutton and Dana Delany. The show reviewed very well, but it didn’t catch on with viewers.
